Daniel Goldsmith, is a Financial Advisor and Retirement Income Specialist with Ascend Financial Group. He spends his time building and maintaining client's retirement income strategies, which corresponds well with his areas of focus; tax planning, investment planning, and risk management. He is passionate about retirement planning and seeks to bring a feeling of confidence to all that work with him. 

Daniel lives in Lake Elmo with his wife, Ruthanne, and their three kids, Keegan, Madeline, and Violet. Having both graduated from college in Duluth, MN (St. Scholastica and UMD), Daniel and Ruthanne love heading up and experiencing all that the North Shore of Lake Superior has to offer. They also spend a lot of time in their hometown of Cumberland, WI. Whether cruising the lake on a pontoon or sitting around a campfire in the fall, they love being outside and enjoying time together as a family.
