Professional Story

Kyler Harder is the owner and a partner at Ascend Financial Group. Kyler is responsible for business development, coordinating with advisors, developing staff, and working with current clients. He is an industry veteran dedicated to helping his clients simplify their financial lives.

He specializes in working with closely held family businesses and pre-retirees/retirees. He was inspired to become a financial advisor to help people create a vision of clarity around their finances and minimize the day-to-day anxiety of managing money.

Kyler resides in Minnetonka Beach with his wife, Lauren, and their girls, Claire and Charlotte. They enjoy traveling, experiencing new foods, and trying to keep up with the girls.

Passionate about mental health, Kyler is a Board Member and Chairs the Finance Committee for Guild, Inc., a St. Paul based non-profit organization that provide daily support for individuals and their families struggling with mental health challenges.
